Ads and ad-free reading
Where ads appear, who doesn't see them, and how to use Arwy without ads.
The free version of Arwy is supported by ads. We've reduced them and try not to interrupt your reading.
Who doesn't see ads?
- All paid plans (Plus, Premium, Elite, Elite+) are fully ad-free.
- New accounts see no ads for their first 24 hours.
- Guests browsing without an account see no ads.
- Rewards from the invite program also remove ads (see Inviting friends).
Reward plans from challenges (reading, sign-in and writing streaks) unlock features but don't remove ads. See Rewards vs. paid subscriptions.
Where do ads appear?
- Small ad cards and banners between list items.
- Full-screen ads at intervals. They don't interrupt you while reading, chatting or writing; they may appear when you move between screens.
- There are no ads on money screens (wallet, tips, withdrawals, identity verification).
- The website has no ads.
Ads you choose to watch
The watch-an-ad-for-coins card in your wallet and the support the author card at the end of a chapter are rewarded ads you start yourself. You can use them even on an ad-free plan.
Good to know
- In the EU, the UK and Switzerland you can change your ad consent in Settings under Ad privacy choices.
- If you use an ad blocker, you may see our own Premium card in place of an ad.
