Subscribing, upgrading and downgrading
Start a subscription in the app; upgrade in the app and downgrade in Google Play.
Subscribing
- Open Settings › My Subscription.
- Pick a plan from the tabs at the top; its features are listed on screen.
- Choose a billing period if available (weekly, monthly, 3-month, yearly).
- Tap Subscribe (or "Try … days free" if a trial is offered) and confirm on the Google Play payment screen.
- The plan unlocks within a few seconds and you'll see a short celebration screen.
If you tap a feature your plan doesn't include, a window shows which plan you need, and you can jump to the subscription screen from there.
Upgrading
Go to the tab of a higher plan, tap Subscribe and confirm in Google Play. Google Play decides how the payment and any remaining time on your old plan are handled, and shows it on the payment screen.
After upgrading, you can check Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions to make sure your old subscription ended. If you see two, cancel the old one there.
Downgrading
On a lower plan's tab, the button reads Manage on Play Store. Tapping it opens Google Play's subscription page, where you make the change. A downgrade usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the app updates on its own.
Good to know
- Your current plan's tab shows Current Plan.
- Your subscription is tied to your Google Play account; on another device, signed in with the same Arwy account, you can restore it.
- You can't subscribe on the website.
