Chat games (one-to-one)
Games you can play in a direct chat, the forfeit rule and the game fee.
A direct chat has two kinds of games: chat card games and full-screen games.
Chat card games
Tap the question mark inside the text box:
- Question Game: pick a question from the categories or write your own; the other person answers with a message.
- Sealed Envelope: turn on Send as Sealed Envelope and neither answer is revealed until you've both written one.
- Photo Duel: you each snap an instant photo with the camera; neither opens until both arrive, and they're view-once.
- Voice Duel: the same idea with short voice answers.
These games are free.
Full-screen games
Tap the game controller icon at the top right of the chat and choose one:
- Battleship: hide your ships and sink your rival's fleet (several board sizes).
- Tic-tac-toe: Classic, Vanishing, Five-in-a-row and Ultimate modes.
- Rock-Paper-Scissors: pick in secret and reveal together, classic or extended.
- Name, City, Animal: a letter drops and you have 60 seconds to fill the categories; an AI referee judges.
- Hangman: pick a word for your opponent to guess letter by letter; six misses and they hang.
The game starts once your opponent accepts. When it ends you can ask for a Rematch. A game with no activity for 24 hours ends.
Forfeit: Truth or Dare?
If you send the invite With forfeit 😈, the loser picks Truth or Dare, the winner writes the task, and the loser has to answer (a dare can include a photo). No forfeit games skip this step.
Game fee
- Whoever starts a full-screen game pays 1 coin; the person who accepts pays nothing.
- Games are free on Premium and above (including plans earned as rewards). Games started on arwy.tr are also free.
- The fee isn't refunded if the invite is declined or expires. No coins go to the winner.
