Creating a room

1. In Messages, tap Show All on the room strip.
2. On the Rooms screen, tap the + button in the bottom-right corner.
3. Add a name, description and photo, optionally link a book, then tap Create.

You can create up to 5 rooms; once you reach that limit, you can't open a new one.

Adding members and inviting

• In Group info, use Add members above the member list to search and pick people. Mutual follows are added directly; everyone else receives an invite card as a message and can tap it to view the room.
• Share room sends an invite link. Opening it takes people to the room in the app; those without the app are sent to the download page.

Admin settings

Under Group info › Room settings:

• Open group and Joining (Join instantly / Join with my approval).
• Show chat before joining: when off, people who haven't joined see only the room card.
• Who can write: everyone or admins only.
• Slow mode: members wait the time you set between messages.
• Photo sharing: everyone, admins or off, with an optional Photos need my approval. The view-once rule for photos is set here too.
• Group rules: rules members will see.

Admin tools

• Pin, hide and delete messages.
• Mute a member, Make admin, Remove from group or Ban.
• Clear chat: deletes every message while keeping members and settings. This can't be undone.
• Close room (it can be reopened later) or Delete group (owner only).
