Getting around: menu, home screen and Explore

The bottom menu

The menu at the bottom of the screen has five tabs, from left to right:

1. Home: book sections picked for you.
2. Feed: posts. Share your own with the plus button in the bottom right.
3. Messages: your direct chats and chat rooms.
4. Notifications: likes, comments, follows and other news.
5. Profile: your profile, books and posts. Settings are opened from here too.

The home screen

At the top you'll find the 🔥 icon for your reading streak, the search box and, on the right, your wallet. Below them are sections that change with what you read, such as Continue Reading, books recommended for you, new books from people you follow, and libraries. Sections with nothing in them are hidden. To see a whole section, tap All → next to its title.

The orange plus button in the bottom right opens My Books, where you start a new book.

Explore

Tap the search box on the home screen to open Explore. Here you can:

• Search for books, authors and users from the field at the top. To search a tag, start with #.
• Browse popular tags and collections such as Trending, New, Top Rated and Completed.
• Pick a genre from the cards grouped by category.

Settings

Open Settings with the settings icon on your Profile tab. Account, profile, security, notifications, appearance and privacy options all live there. See Language and theme.
