The app crashes or freezes
Updating, restarting and clearing the cache fixes most crashes.
Most crashes and freezes come from an old version or a temporary problem on the phone. Try these in order:
- Update: open Arwy in the Play Store and install any update. We fix bugs in every release, and some updates are required.
- Restart: fully close the app from your recent apps and open it again. If that doesn't help, restart your phone.
- Clear the cache: in your phone's Settings › Apps › Arwy › Storage, tap Clear cache. This doesn't delete your account or your data.
- Storage: make sure your phone has enough free space; full storage can make apps freeze.
- Connection: on a very slow or unstable connection, some screens can take a long time to load. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Don't use Clear storage/data: it signs you out and deletes post drafts saved on the device and books you've downloaded.
APK from the website
If you installed the app from the website instead of Google Play, some features (buying coins, withdrawals) won't work. For the smoothest experience, use the Google Play version.
