A book or chapter isn't showing

Possible reasons and fixes when a book, chapter or something you wrote doesn't appear.

As a reader

Internet: if you see the "No internet connection" banner at the top, only downloaded books can be read. On a weak connection, the chapter list may look empty; check your connection and pull down to refresh.
18+ books: books marked as adult content show a blurred cover. To open one, confirm "Yes, I'm over 18".
Paid chapter: if the writer has priced a chapter in coins, its text stays hidden until you unlock it. See Unlocking a paid chapter.
Blocking: your access to content from a writer you blocked, or who blocked you, is limited. Check Settings › Blocked Users.
Removed content: the writer may have deleted or unpublished the book, or it may have been hidden under our content rules.

Drafts: only you can see draft books and chapters. In the chapter list, tap a chapter marked as a draft and publish it.
Cover: a book without a cover can't be published; add a cover first.
Archive: archived books and posts don't appear on your profile; restore them from Settings › Archive.
Not in Explore or search yet: newly published books may not appear in lists right away, because search and discovery lists refresh at intervals. Your book page and profile update immediately.
