Deleting your account

Permanently delete your account from Settings › Account. This cannot be undone.

Deleting your account cannot be undone. A deleted account and its books and posts can't be brought back.

Steps

  1. Open Settings › Account and scroll down to the Danger Zone.
  2. Tap Delete My Account.
  3. Read the warning and confirm with Yes, delete my account.
  4. If you signed up with email, enter your password to confirm. If you signed up with Google, no password is needed.

When it's done, you're signed out.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, username and account details
  • The books and chapters you wrote, your posts and your libraries
  • Comments you left on other people's books and posts
  • Your follows, reading history and the files you uploaded
  • The coin balance in your wallet

Direct chats you had with others may remain in the other person's history.

30 days

Your deleted data is fully erased within 30 days, except for records we're legally required to keep. This period exists for security and possible disputes; the account can't be restored during it. Records required by law (such as IP logs) are kept for the period the law sets.

Before you delete

  • If you have earnings, consider withdrawing them first; a deleted balance can't be restored.
  • If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Play subscription.
  • If you can't get into the app and want your account deleted, email info@arwy.life from the address on your account.
