Changing your email address

Your email is used for signing in, resetting your password and the account emails we send. Before changing it, make sure you can open the new inbox.

1. Open Settings › Account.
2. Type your new address in the Email field. If it's already used by another account, you'll see a warning.
3. Tap Send verification code. A 6-digit code is sent to the new address.
4. Enter it in the 6-digit code field.
5. Tap Save in the top right.

If the code is correct, your address is updated right away. From then on, sign in with the new address.

Common problems

• No code: check the Spam/Junk and Promotions folders of the new address and make sure you typed it correctly. You can request a new code after a short wait. The code is valid for 30 minutes.
• "Send a verification code before changing your email": you need to request and enter the code before saving.
• Address already in use: an email address can belong to only one account.
