End of chapter: rating, comments, polls and the next chapter

When you finish a chapter, there are a few ways to let the author know what you thought.

Rating

Tap the heart at the top of the reading screen and choose 1–5 stars. Your rating is saved for that chapter and counts toward the book's average. If you change your mind, pick a new rating or tap Remove rating. The heart is filled on chapters you've rated.

Polls

If the author added a poll, a The author asks card appears right after the text. Tap an option to vote.

• You can vote only once in each poll and can't change your vote later.
• Results appear after you vote, so other readers' choices don't sway yours.

Next chapter

1. Tap Next Chapter at the end of the chapter.
2. On the break screen you can rate the chapter with stars, comment on the book and read other comments.
3. Tap Next Chapter again to continue. On the last chapter the button becomes Finish Book.

Good to know

• At the end of a chapter you may see an ad space and an optional card that lets you watch a short ad to support the author.
• If the author attached a song to the chapter, it appears at the start of the chapter and opens in your own music app.
• Rating, commenting and voting require you to be signed in.
