Reading chapters in your language (translation)

Translate a chapter written in another language into your app language with one tap. Premium and up.

ARWY has books in many languages. With translation you can read a chapter written in another language in your own.

How to translate a chapter

Open the chapter and tap the menu icon at the top right.
Choose Translation.
The chapter is translated into the language you use the app in. The menu icon turns orange.

While translation is on, the next chapters are translated automatically too. To go back to the original, tap Translation in the menu again.

Translation always goes into your app language, so there's no language to pick. To translate into a different language, change your app language first.

Which plan do I need?

Chapter translation is unlimited on Premium and above (Premium, Elite, Elite+). Without a plan you can try it a few times for free. If a translation fails because of an error, your try is given back.

On a book page, the Translate link under a title and blurb written in another language.
The Translate link under comments.

Good to know

Translation needs an internet connection.
It's a machine translation, so the author's style and wordplay may not fully come through.
The poll at the end of the chapter is shown in the same language; vote counts are not affected.
With translation on, Read Aloud reads the translated text.
