New chapter notifications from writers you follow

Follow a writer you love so you never miss them. We'll let you know when they publish something new.

When you get notified

• When a writer you follow publishes a new book.
• When a writer you follow, or a book in one of your libraries, publishes a new chapter.
• When a book in your libraries or by a writer you follow is completed.

Tapping the notification opens the book page directly.

Follow a writer

1. On a book page, tap the author's name or photo.
2. On their profile, tap Follow.

New books from writers you follow also appear on your home screen.

Turn these notifications on or off

In Settings › Notifications, use the Libraries and new chapters switch in the Books group.

Not getting notifications?

• Check that notifications for ARWY are allowed in your phone settings. If they're off, you'll see a warning on the settings screen.
• Make sure you actually follow the writer.
• If a writer unpublishes a chapter and publishes it again, you won't be notified a second time.
• Battery saver modes on some phones can delay notifications.
