Libraries: organize books into shelves

Libraries let you sort books into your own shelves, like "To read", "Favorites" or the best of a genre you love.

Create a library and add books

1. On a book page or book card, tap Add to Library.
2. Pick an existing library or tap Create New Library.
3. Name it, add a description if you like, and tap Create and Add.

From the same list you can remove a book from a library or add it to another one too.

Edit a library

Open your library and use the menu at the top right:

• Edit library: change its name and description.
• Cover image: pick a cover from your gallery. Without one, a collage of the books' covers is shown.
• Delete library: deletes the library, not the books in it.

Other people's libraries

Libraries are public: anyone who visits your profile can see your shelves. Open a library you like and tap Like to follow it. Libraries you follow appear under Libraries You Follow on your home screen, and the owner gets a notification.

Good to know

• There's no option to make a library private, so keep that in mind for personal reading lists.
• Your own libraries appear under My Libraries on the home screen and on your profile.
• You need to be signed in to use libraries.
