Reading streaks and challenge rewards

We reward reading regularly. The 🔥 icon at the top of the home screen shows your current reading streak. Tap it to open the Challenges screen.

Reading challenges

• A chapter today: finish at least one chapter today. This is how you keep your streak alive.
• Reading streak: finish at least one chapter 7 days in a row; the reward is 7 days of Premium.
• Login streak: open the app 14 days in a row; the reward is 3 days of Plus.

A chapter counts as finished when you read to the end or start listening to it. The screen also shows writing challenges for authors.

How rewards are given

1. Streaks are calculated every evening.
2. If you've hit a goal, the reward is added to your account and you get a notification.
3. The reward ends on its own when it expires; there's nothing to cancel.

If your streak is one day short and you haven't read yet today, you may get a short reminder in the evening.

Good to know

• Each reward can be earned at most once a month.
• Streak rewards unlock plan features (like Read Aloud and translation) but don't remove ads.
• A real subscription bought on Google Play is never overridden. If you already have Premium or higher, you won't get the reading streak reward.
• Missing a day resets your streak and it starts over.
