How do I find something to read?

Use the home screen, Explore, genres, collections, search and # tags to find your next book.

There are several ways to discover books on ARWY, and they all start from the home screen.

Home screen

Your home screen adapts to you. Continue Reading shows books you have started, For You suggests books that match your taste, and Friends Are Reading shows what people you follow read recently. New books from writers you follow and libraries appear further down. Tap All → next to a section title to open the full list.

Explore

Tap the search box at the top of the home screen to open Explore. You can browse here without the keyboard popping up:

Popular tags: the tags people use most right now.
Collections: Trending This Week, New Releases, Top Rated and Completed books.
Genres: cover tiles grouped under Romance, Thriller & Crime, Fantasy & Sci-Fi, Life & Society and Format.

The One Shot genre gathers single-chapter books. Writers don't need to pick it: any book with exactly one published chapter shows up there.

Search

Tap Search books, authors or #tags at the top of Explore.
Type a book title, an author's name or a username. Results appear as you type.
To search tags only, start with # (for example #revenge).

Your recent searches are kept in a list that you can clear at any time.

You can read without an account. Commenting, liking and libraries need you to sign in.
Books marked 18+ show a blurred cover. More in 18+ books.
