Unlocking locked (paid) chapters

Some authors lock part of their chapters. Unlocking a chapter with coins lets you read it and supports the author directly.

Spotting a locked chapter

In the chapter list on the book page, locked chapters show a lock and their price. The first three chapters of a book are always free, so you never pay before getting to know a book.

How to unlock

1. Tap the locked chapter. A screen shows the price and your balance.
2. Tap Unlock.
3. Check the chapter name and price in the confirmation dialog, then confirm.
4. The chapter opens right away.

If your balance isn't enough, tap Get coins on the same screen.

Permanent access

The unlock is permanent; you won't pay for this chapter again. Come back and reread it whenever you like. An author can't unpublish or delete a chapter that has been sold.

Good to know

• 1 coin is worth 1 Turkish lira. Unlocks have no fees; the full amount goes to the author.
• Coins can only be bought in the Android app through Google Play. You can't buy coins on the web, but you can unlock chapters there if you have a balance.
• You can't unlock chapters of your own book; as the author you already see all of it.
• Unlocked paid chapters can be downloaded for offline reading; locked ones aren't.
• If the author changes the price while you're on the screen, the purchase stops and the new price is shown.
