Creating and sharing quote cards

If you love a sentence, you can turn it into a shareable image with the book's title and author.

Make a card

1. While reading, press and hold to select the sentence.
2. Tap Share in the bar at the bottom. The Share Quote screen opens.
3. Pick a format: Story (vertical, for stories), Square or Portrait.
4. Pick a theme: Classic, Dark, Orange or Book Cover, which uses the cover as the background.
5. Turn off Show my profile photo if you prefer.

Share it

• Share: opens your phone's share menu so you can send the card to any app.
• Save to Gallery: saves the card to your photos.
• Share as a post: posts the quote with the book on your ARWY feed, with room for your own comment.

A small share mark appears next to the paragraph you shared, and its inline comments show how many people shared it.

Good to know

• Long quotes are scaled down to fit, and very long ones are shortened. One or two sentences look best.
• The ARWY signature in the corner can't be removed.
• If asked, allow photo access on your phone to save to your gallery.
• To share the whole book, use Share Book on the book page.
