Adding music to a chapter

You can share the song you listened to while writing, or one you'd like to go with a scene, with your readers.

Adding a song

1. Open the song in Spotify or Apple Music and copy its link from the share menu.
2. In the chapter editor, tap the music note icon in the top bar.
3. Paste the link into Song link. We look up the title and artist for you.
4. Save or publish the chapter.

What readers see

When readers open the chapter, the song appears with its album cover. Tapping it opens the song in whatever music service they use; you using Spotify doesn't mean they need Spotify.

Good to know

• Only Spotify and Apple Music links are supported. Other links show Only Spotify and Apple Music links are supported.
• Each chapter takes one song. Tap the same icon again to change or remove it.
• The song doesn't play inside the app; it takes the reader to their music service.
