Content rules and copyright
Everything you publish must follow the community guidelines and content policy; don’t publish others’ work without permission.
The books, chapters, covers and images you publish on Arwy can be read by anyone, so they need to follow some rules.
Where the rules are
- Community Guidelines: what is and isn't allowed.
- Content Policy: sensitive content, warnings and enforcement.
- Terms of Use: the legal framework for your account and content.
Copyright
- The text you publish must be yours, or you must have permission to publish it. Posting someone else's book, translation or story without permission is copyright infringement.
- The same goes for covers and chapter images: not every image you find online is free to use.
- You can publish works whose copyright has expired (public domain); choose Public Domain as the license and credit the original author.
- Fan fiction is welcome, but don't copy long passages from the original word for word.
You keep the copyright to your own work. You choose how it can be shared with the License setting (see managing your book).
Content that breaks the rules
Readers can report content that breaks the rules, and our team reviews it. Content may be hidden or removed after review, and repeated violations can lead to account restrictions. Remember to add content warnings before publishing sensitive content.
If your work was posted without permission
If someone else published your work on Arwy, report it in the app or email info@arwy.life with details showing the work is yours.
