End-of-chapter poll

Ask readers one question with 2–4 options; once someone votes, the poll can no longer be changed.

Add a poll to the end of a chapter to ask your readers one question, like "Who should she choose?" Readers see it when they finish the chapter.

Adding a poll

  1. In the chapter editor, tap Options › Add an end-of-chapter poll.
  2. Write your Question (up to 140 characters).
  3. Add 2 to 4 options (up to 60 characters each). The same option can't appear twice.
  4. Tap Save.

Results

  • Readers see results only after they vote, so the votes aren't swayed by what others picked.
  • Each reader votes once and can't change their vote.
  • You see the results in the poll editor and under Poll results on the Statistics screen.
  • A poll on a paid chapter is shown only to readers who unlocked the chapter.

It can't be changed later

The moment the first vote is cast, the poll is locked: you can no longer edit the question or options. This is so a reader's vote never ends up meaning something different from what they chose. If you spot a mistake you can delete the poll, but all votes are deleted with it, and this can't be undone.

For readers in other languages with translation turned on, the poll is shown in their language; votes still count toward the same option.
