AI spelling correction

AI Spelling Correction fixes spelling and punctuation mistakes in your chapter. It cleans up errors rather than rewriting: it doesn't add or remove words or reorder sentences, and inverted sentences and dialogue stay as they are.

Who can use it

• It's unlimited on Elite+.
• Other accounts get 3 tries to get to know it. When they're used up, the plans screen opens.
• If no correction can be made at all (for example, the service doesn't respond), the try is given back.

How to use it

1. In the chapter editor, tap Options › Correct spelling & punctuation with AI.
2. A window opens saying AI is correcting your text… Please keep this screen open. Long chapters can take a minute or two.
3. When it's done, switch between Corrected and Original to compare.
4. Tap Apply if you like it or Cancel if you don't. Nothing changes until you confirm.

Formatting and images

Corrections are applied line by line, so bold and italic formatting and images between paragraphs stay in place. If the corrected text's line structure changed, you'll be asked first: applying it may remove formatting and move images. If you're unsure, choose Cancel.

Good to know

• Up to about 60,000 characters (roughly 10,000 words) can be corrected at once.
• AI can make mistakes too. Before applying, check proper names and any slang you used on purpose.
• The same feature is available on the web.
